PHY 1020 - Physical Science
PHY 1020 -- Physical Science 4 Credit Hours (Offered Fall, Spring, Summer) A one term course of lectures and demonstrations designed 1) to meet the general education requirements in physical science for non-science majors and 2) for students who need a preparatory course prior to taking physics. The course presents the fundamental classical and modern concepts of physics in the area of mechanics, energy, wave motion, electromagnetism, and atomic structure. Also topics in earth science and astronomy will be discussed.
