CTS 1142 - Information Technology Project Management 3 Credit Hours (Offered Fall) This introductory course teaches the essentials of information technology project management. This course provides an introduction to the project management body of knowledge, as specified by CompTIA project+. The course discusses the processes, methods, techniques and tools that organizations use to manage information systems projects. The course covers a systematic methodology for initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing projects and emphasizes the important special considerations which apply to information technology projects Prerequisite(s): Knowledge of networking, basic computer, and keyboarding skills are strongly recommended. ¿Technology-Across-the-Curriculum Course.
